Erin Go Bragh!!!!!!!!!!!!

 Happy St. Paddy's Day!

May good luck be with you Wherever you go , And your blessing outnumber The shamrocks that grow.

Stuart and the Irish Table Runner

Here is the table runner that I made this past week for my Irish Brother Michael.
He has a joke that he and my sister, Colleen, were Irish Twins (and they did look an awful lot alike) and that I was his Polish sister. He actually started this on  St. Patrick's Day years ago when I wanted to wear his Notre Dame shirt for the holiday festivities and he said, "No, your not Irish you are Polish!", after much teasing though he did let me wear it.

Old Man "Angus" he wanted his picture taken too!

The finished St. Paddy's Day Table runner for Mike!~

Michael with Angus and Stuart

And one final picture.......... here he is as Uncle Mike and Godfather to my twin sons Aaron and Zachary.
My lil' brother!

And I will leave you with a little laugh for this beautiful sunny St. Paddy's Day:

McQuillan walked into a bar and ordered martini after martini, each time removing the olives and placing them in a jar. When the jar was filled with olives and all the drinks consumed, he started to leave.

"S'cuse me," said a customer, who was puzzled over what McQuillan had done. "What was that all about?"
"Nothing," he replied, "my wife just sent me out for a jar of olives."

"CONVERtED" ............

A black metal Satanist fills his empty soul with a dark kind of love and happiness when he finds himself CONVERtED.

Written and Directed by Aaron H. Baker
Starring Zachary H. Baker and Danielle N. Kramer

Aaron and Zachary

Aaron H. Baker and Zachary Hart Baker (the twins at work)

I wanted to post a preview of some of the things the twins have been doing.  Aaron went to Columbia College Chicago .  He will graduate this spring 2011 with honors.  Before he goes back to Chicago and walk the line to get his diploma that he worked so hard for............ he was accepted into a writers program in
H-O-L-L-Y-W-O-O-D!  Yes, hooray for Hollywood!
So...... Aaron and Danielle at the beginning of February 2011 (one step ahead of our Big Blizzard in the Midwest) packed their bags and Harmony their cat and headed for Hollywood, Ca.
The pictures above was one of Aaron's projects for school.  He called it Converted, sorry folks... all I know is that Zach and Danielle had a part in the filming and that it was a dark offbeat comedy.  Correct me if I have my facts wrong especially anyone that was involved of the filming of this short film.

First Modern Quilt Social!!!!!

Jessie (my niece) and I at our First Modern Quilt Social held at
Stitch Cleveland in Lakewood, Ohio .  Jess and I had so much fun, this is the first Modern Quilt Social they held.  I cannot wait until April 7 to go again.  They had snacks, beverages, free prizes (Jess and I both won, she won a circle quilt template and I won a book to learn how to sew small projects) and we got to test drive Heidi's midarm quilter on a frame (it wasn't as difficult as we thought it would be).  Anywho........ we both had such a good time and can't wait to conquer that quilting frame and machine I have of my own!!!!

Wedding Bells, Art & Designs

I want to share what happened in my family on 10/10/10! Zachary Hart Baker (son) married the love of his life Jessica Bright.  This is a photo of the wedding party.  The Wedding took Place at Walleye Gallery (click on their name for future shows they are having) here in Cleveland on Detroit Road in the Ohio City area.

The pictures were taken in the flats and at the wedding by Jeffrey Sierputowski (very talented so click on his name to see more of him), I know that Zach took Jess many times to all his favorite places there.... some where he painted some of his art.

Here are two of the paintings that Zach did the week of the wedding and he used them as the back drop when they said their vows.

Sharron Walker my Sister-in-law officiated the ceremony and she did a beautiful job.  She had to hold back her tears because she has been in their lives for quite awhile and watched Zach and Jess's love grow for each other.  Sharron has done many weddings and I highly recommend her!

These were the handmade party favors painted silk screened with one of Zach's signature trademarks of the Heart (Hart get it?). I know that Jess was at that sewing machine and stuffing these little pillows for everyone to enjoy on the big day.  Also, the invitations were designed by them and had a lot of help from one of their grooms men Charlie Giglia.

Here is the Vegan......... yes I said Vegan cupcakes for the reception, and guess what...... no one knew they were vegan. We decided to tell the Non-Vegan eaters after they devoured all of them!

I really like this photo how it looks like the couple in the painting have their straws in the cake!

Here is a picture of some of the flowers that my girlfriend Meg Driscoll did for the wedding.  She is so talented and we basically gave her free reign to do as she wished..... especially with the wedding being eclectic and all and she took it and it was absolutely fabulous.  She is one of the most talented florist I have ever met.  And one thing I can say is........ you can never ever have enough flowers! If any of you need a florist I tell you...... you won't be disappointed with Meg!

And the Big Finally to this post........Zach painted their love in Cleveland on the west bank. I know if you drive around somewhere in the Flats you can find it and realize what a happy beautiful couple!

I also need to mention this was primarily a Vegan Wedding, Jess's Mom, Candace Barson, her sisters and friends prepared Vegan Pierogis, dips, relish trays and we also had Maha's Cafe on West 25th cater many Mediterranean delights that were devoured by all.... vegan and non-vegan alike!!!

So this is just a bit of the peeps in my life..... family & friends..... that inspire me to create create create!
